About Deadly Bloggers

About the list:
  • Was created by Leesa Watego and is powered by Iscariot Media.
  • Originally started as a link list on Leesa's blog and was a Twitter hashtag (#deadlybloggers). On Wednesday March 21, 2012 we created blog here on Blogger, and a Twitter account and Facebook Page.
  • Each entry is added manually onto the Blog List gadget (on Blogger)
  • The most recent entries are pushed to the top
  • The list is not sorted into categories YET. When it expands it will definitely need to be sorted.
How to make you blog "listing" look better:
  • include an image in your post
  • post frequently
How to get on the list?

Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individual, business, organisation that blogs and/or uses a blogging platform (WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr, Posterous etc. NOT Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

There is currently no form, just Tweet me and/or Facebook me and I'll add it in as soon as I can.

Not the authenticity police:

We are not the authenticity police. If you say you're an Indigenous Australian blogger, then we'll add you to the list.

New website coming:

We're creating a new website. Each blog will have its own post (not just be a link on a page). Am working out what information we need to capture. Look forward to feedback, and hope to have it up and running asap.
